Kansas City Here I Come
Safety, amenities, and super close access to Kansas City, Columbia, and The Lake of the Ozarks is just the tip of the iceberg. It would be hard to top this community of 15,000 and all that it has to offer. You will have access to many of the chain restaurants you enjoy but if you like to support your local eateries, this community has an incredible variety of different fares. There are both public and private school options for your young children and when they are ready for college, they will not have to go far, considering this is a great college in town. If they want to get out of town but close enough to come home and do laundry and have a home cooked meal, you only have to drive 45 minutes and you are at the front door of the University of Missouri.
There are plenty of things to do in town but when you when to break away for a nice long weekend, head south on a short drive and arrive at one of the largest, most popular manmade lakes, or head west and have a great evening on the Plaza in Kansas City. Of course, you are just a short drive to take in a football game of the Superbowl Champions, Kansas City Chiefs. Or head east a short drive and take in everything that a great SEC university has to offer.
